Sarah walked to one of the lockers and opened it. The locker belonged to Kyla Leeson, a thin, small-breasted nerdy girl. After stripping off all her clothes, Sarah took out Kyla's clothes and put them on. Soon, she was dressed in a plain white button-up shirt, an unflattering knee-length skirt, and white socks.
Suddenly, she felt different. She was timid and had very little self confidence. As she tied her hair back into a ponytail, as Kyla usually did, one of the gym teachers entered the locker room.
"Sarah? Why aren't you outside with everyone else?" she asked.
"Uh ... I ... um." She took a deep breath. "I can't find my gym clothes."
The teacher looked past Sarah towards her locker and saw that it was empty. "It's okay. There's a pair in the office. But it's just for today, okay?"
"Yes. Thank you," she said quietly.
Kyla was running around the track, just like everyone else. But when she got to the farthest end, she suddenly stopped, then just walked off the track and even off the school property into the neighboring group of houses.
No one even noticed that she left.
