Seeing that she only had about five minutes before school started, Athena turned to go inside. But before she did, she noticed one more odd person walking towards the school. It was Derek Lettman, except he no longer looked like an emo boy. Instead, he wore a huge shirt and a pair of huge pants that looked so big that Athena thought he was going to trip over them. But he didn't. He walked right into the school as if nothing was wrong.
Then Athena followed after him.
Athena's first class was American Literature. It was a required class, but most students waited until their Junior or Senior year to take it. Athena and Zoe took it this year, their Freshman year. So, there were quite a few upperclassmen in the class with them. And that included people like Sarah McMillan, Steve Farber, Zach Jones, Tim Brant, and others.
When Athena entered the classroom, just on time, she spotted Jon. He was sitting in Zoe's usual seat. And maybe it was just her, but he seemed a little different than when she met him that morning. Was his hair longer? No, that couldn't be.
Athena sat down and the teacher began to teach.
