"Good morning, sweetie," Mrs. Tyne said.
"Good morning, Mom," Zoe said, sitting down at the kitchen table.
"Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah, I did. But ..."
"What is it, honey?"
"I don't know. I just don't quite feel like myself for some reason."
"You seem fine to me. Although ... you do seem a bit pale. Maybe you should try getting more sun."
"Believe me, I intend to," Zoe said.
Zoe and Mrs. Tyne ate breakfast together and then Zoe headed off to school. She just loved going to school. But part of her felt like that was wrong, like she really didn't like school, but she shook off the feeling. Maybe she didn't sleep as well as she thought.
