A few streets away and a few hours later.
Jon wakes up for the third time in Karyn’s bedroom. After a few seconds of wondering where he was he remembered the events of the last couple of days.
“There has to be a way to reverse this wish. I really don’t want to be Karyn anymore.” He said softly trying not to wake the others in the house. Passing by the mirror on his way to the bathroom he saw Karyn’s reflection in the mirror and he stopped to look at it once more.
I will never get used to seeing this in the mirror Jon thought to himself. He turned to continue his journey all the time trying to ignore the strange feeling that he had noticed since waking this morning.
Jon hated getting up this early in the morning but he needed time to do his/ Karyn’s makeup and hair for school.
He arrived at the bathroom still only half awake and walked in to the shower. Before turning on the shower he pulled the nightdress that he had worn to bed over his head. Something still felt wrong but he couldn’t put his finger on it. He reached to turn the shower on and the cold water hit his chest. “What the …” Jon stated with some alarm. He slowly brought his hands to his chest. Jon could only think of one word to voice what he had found “KARYN”
Try as he might he still found himself following Karyn’s morning routine. After the shower he made his way back to the bedroom. He sat in the room drying his hair looking at the alarm clock. 7.00. He knew that “Jon” would not be awake yet he would have to wait.
