There was a flash of blinding light, and suddenly Mikey was looking down at... himself. It felt very disconcerting looking at himself holding the rock, but even more disconcerting was a glance at the mirror in his room: His mother stood across from the other Mikey... in the exact same spot he was! With the exact same expression of shock he had!
He put his hand up to his mouth to chew on his nails like he did when he was nervous, and jumped back as he saw his mother do the same thing in the mirror! Looking back down at himself, or what used to be himself, he spoke in a feminine voice, deeper than he was used to. "Mommy...?"
The boy he used to be looked up at him and spoke in what used to be his voice. "Mikey? What did you do??" The boy looked down at the stone in his hand, still in shock. "Did this do this do us?"
The boy looked up at him for confirmation, looking so small and afraid. Mikey just wanted to hug and comfort him and... no! That boy WAS him! It should be him! Mikey nodded, and the boy looked back down at it, speaking again in his old voice. "I... I wish I was a grown woman again!"
They both reflexively covered their eyes against the second flash of light...
