Jon and Karyn dashed into the woods. The pound wasn't far from his house, and he knew a place she could stay, at least for awhile. Karyn was clearly having trouble keeping her massive frame moving as she snorted along behind him, breathing heavily.
"Jon! SNORT SNORT Can we rest please?!"
Jon slowed and looked around. They were well into the woods now. No one could see them. "Ok. We're almost there anyway." The flesh of Karyn's hand was very hot to the touch, but completely dry. Pigs didn't sweat, Jon remembered.
"God. It's so hot." Karyn plopped down onto the ground, causing the mammaries that dominated her front to bounce several times before settling back into position. The night was actually quite cool, but beneath all that blubber the exertion had to have been tremendous. "Where are we going, anyway?"
"Remember when we were little? We always ran around the woods near our houses. Drove mom crazy. We can't take you home. Mikey seems to have wished that everyone will see you as...well, a pig. Guess he just left me unaltered to torture me. And I can't hide you in my house, since Mikey is there. Remember that creek we found? Nearly a mile in the woods? I figure you can hide there, at least for awhile."
Karyn clearly wasn't happy about this, but she nodded solemnly. "Ok. I think we can move again. Just... can you go a bit slower?" Jon nodded.
About twenty minutes later, they arrived. The creek was small, but sizable enough to swim in when they were children. Now it came up to about Karyn's knees. The pig girl squealed with joy and ran straight into the water, lying back and immersing herself as much as possible. Jon just stood and watched. The creek ran through a clearing at this point, so the visibility was quite good.
"That feels soooo good. I don't know how you stand this heat." There was silence for a moment, as Karyn rested there with her eyes closed.
"Karyn...I'm so sorry." Jon said at last. "This is all my fault. If I hadn't left the stone unguarded this would never have happened to us."
Karyn rose from the creek bed and stepped towards him, rivulets of water running down her swollen frame. "It's not your fault. You couldn't have known Mikey would do...this." She gestured to her changed body. That was true enough, but still. "I'm sorry."
Jon turned away.
"Wait! snort Where are you going?!"
"I have to go. If I'm not back home before Mikey is awake, he'll know something's up."
"Can you stay just a little bit longer? Please." It was hard to tell in the dark, but he thought Karyn's beady eyes were becoming wet. He looked up. There was no sign of light in the sky. It was probably only about four.
"Ok. Another hour."
"Thanks. And thank you, y'know, for coming for me. I was so scared." She stepped closer towards him. Her short bath seemed to have improved the smell somewhat. It was still unpleasant, but he no longer felt the urge to gag. Karyn reached out a hand. Jon tentatively held it.
"You know, Jon..." Another step. "When you held me back there...I liked it." Closer again. Jon felt a strange fluttering in his chest. His face began to burn. Maybe it was hot after all. Karyn stepped forward again. "Can you do it again? Please?" Her eyes were definitely moist, though now that she was closer, he could tell they were the same green she'd had before this all began.
This time, it was Jon that stepped forward and tentatively wrapped his arms around Karyn.
