When the smoke cleared Mikey noticed Jon has been launched across his room. He got Jon up and saw that his body had been returned to its normal male self. Observing the room he saw it was changed back into Jon's old room. Jon looked down with glee.
"Finally! My old body is back!" He said. "But where is the stone?" They looked around to no avail. Jon became angry once more. "Thanks Mikey! You messed everything up!
"Come on Jon, don't be mad!" Mikey said.
Jon relaxed and took a deep breath. "Fine, I guess its ok since you didn't know, but if that stone pops up anywhere tell me immediately. Sorry about your toy breaking." Mikey was surprised he even apologized for breaking the device he used to transform them all. Did his powers of control still work?
He decided to go downstairs with Jon to see if the rest of his family was fixed. As expected, the whole family was sitting around the table perfectly normal. They all had expressions of relief that their body was back to their normal state. Mikey sat in a chair and was served a peanut butter and jelly sandwich from his mother. She started talking to him.
"Now Mikey you have to promise you'll never do anything like that again!" She scolded.
"Fine, I won't." Mikey quietly said.
"And as punishment " Mom continued " you're grounded for 3 months, no tv, no toys, and you have to help cook and clean."
"Ugh! That's not fair! You're all back to normal anyways." Mikey whined. "I liked it better when you had a teenage head!"
Suddenly his mother's nose started to twitch. Her whole face began to slightly jiggle. The wrinkles all over her face disappeared, with her skin smoothing out all over. The lips became plumper, the eyes looked more alert with a hint of makeup, and the cheek bones stuck out more. Her hair went from frizzy brown to straight black. The teenage face returned, just as Mikey made prior. The rest of the family gasped with the exception of Mikey who seemed very pleased with himself.
"Hey, I can change you just by thinking about it!" Mikey stated the obvious. "That blast must of exposed me to some crazy magic power. This is awesome! You can keep all my toys, I've got better things to play with now, and they're all sitting right in front of me!"
The family gulped as they became the playthings of his imagination.
