There was a flash and Mikey was back to his 10-year-old form sitting in detention with the 3 girls, Ms Fenwick, and watching a badly acted video of the importance of punctuality.
It was as if no one had any recollection of what just happened except Mikey.
Mikey glanced at the gun, which was flashing a steady red light and beeping. He didn't understand how everything switched back to normal. Worse yet, he tried to muffle the gun, which seemed to begin beeping louder and louder.
Ms Fenwick walked over. "Are you playing with something when you should be paying attention, mister?! What do you have there?!"
Mikey fired the gun at Ms. Fenwick
