Jon was simply enjoying being full-size again, so much so that he nearly forgot to go to school. Heading off to school, he met up with Karyn at the usual spot on their route. "What's up, Jon-boy? Why didn't you answer my calls yesterday?"
Sighing, he thought of a lie to tell Karyn. Telling her he'd been his little sister's doll would have been too much. "I was really busy helping my mom, all day. She had a lot of work to do." Karyn leered at him. "You're a really bad liar, you know. You kind of twitch. And you sigh when you're about to lie. Huuuhhh..." She imitated him, frowning.
"So what really happened, Jon?" He stared directly ahead, wondering whether to tell her. "Well... I was with Sally the whole day. Mikey got a hold of the rock and he wished to control my size. So he made me the size of a Barbie doll." Karyn stared at him for a long moment, then burst out laughing. "I was wondering when you'd tell me. Hahaha. Mikey told me, yesterday. He told me about his OTHER wishes, too." She smiled, looking away and clearly unwilling to tell him about it.
"What wish?" He asked anyway, hoping against hope. "Sorry. Can't tell ya. You'll see. Well, he will."
Walking the rest of the way to school in silence, they separated and went to their classes, and Jon had almost forgotten about the wishes until he asked to go to the bathroom in his second class.
