Mikey stood there with a look of horror on his face. He wasn't quite sure what he'd just seen. Had Jon just...?
"What the hell are you doing Mikey!" Mikey's dad shouted as he leaped from the bed and pulled the bedsheed around his waist. "Don't you know how to knock!?" His dad was furious. Mikey had never been hit, of course, but now he was beginning to fear for his safety.
"But... but.. but-" Mikey said.
"But nothing, young man," Jon said as he stood up and straightened his nightie. "Your father and I were sharing a private moment. Go to your room. You need to learn to respect other people's privacy."
"But-"
"Michael James Madison! You get to your room this instant." Even though Jon was still under the effects of Mikey's wish, Mikey was too shocked to give any kind of order. Even though it was Jon standing there in that nightie, he posessed all the wrath of an angry mother. Mikey sloped off too his room, the wishing rock being the farthest thing from his mind.
As Mikey left the room, Jon turned back to his "husband."
"Now, where were we?" Jon said as he draped his arms around Pete's shoulders.
"I don't know if I'm in the mood now."
"Oh, come on honey. Boys will be boys," Jon said with a peck to the cheek.
"I know what you mean. But I just don't think I have it in me now," Pete said.
"Oh fine," Jon pouted as the two climbed into bed. As he drifted off to sleep, he had the oddest feeling that something wasn't quite right about the day.
