"Mikey, I wish you and Gina would get along." said Ms. Warren.
There was a flash, and suddenly Mikey wasn't mad at Gina anymore. Why would he be? Gina was his best friend... Wait, was that right?
Gina leaned over and said, "Sorry to call you out on the panties, buddy," she giggled. "Thanks for agreeing to the swap." she said, and pulled her plaid skirt down just a little so Mikey could see her underwear... She was wearing boys' briefs, moreover, Mikey recognized them as his own Batman underoos.
Mikey was growing more and more confused, so in this new reality, he and Gina were best friends, and liked to wear each others' underwear?!
The class calmed down, and Ms. Warren returned to the head of the class. She glanced at the rock in her hand, and thinking it was just a normal rock, she opened the window and tossed it outside into the school's rock garden.
Mikey stared in horror... What if he couldn't find the rock amongst all those others? What if someone else found it first? It would seem like an eternity till recess...
