"...you didn't see that." And with that Gina's face became confused and she let her hand drop, returning her attention to Ms. Warren.
Mikey smiled at what he was able to do and quickly thought of a wish that would make it easier for him. "I wish people wouldn't pay attention to me unless I wanted them to."
Mikey continued to smile, got up and immediately went to the front of the class.
No one paid any attention to him.
"It's just like being invisible or a ghost." He said out loud. "I wish I could turn myself into a ghost and....possess people, like I saw on that scary movie."
Mikey felt himself going immaterial. But as he did so the rock fell out of his hand.
"Oh no! What am I going to do?" Mikey shouted to himself.
