A light breeze that blew by the window, one that was barely enough to push either Lucy or the note...
"...the note!" Lucy lifted the note above her head. It was fairly light; while bigger than Lucy, it wasn't heavy at all. Lucy decided she'd try something... Looking at the bedframe in the opposite corner, Lucy held the note above her head and leapt toward it.
The sense of weightlessness as Lucy glided toward the bedframe was exhilirating, and despite everything else, she was grinning ear-to-ear as she crossed the gap with ease.
Lucy's feet touched down on the bed's post, and without wasting any time, Lucy climbed down and hauled the paper back to the windowsill. In front of her, the gap between the houses loomed.
"All right, then, mage, was this note a challenge?" Turning her head to the window opposite her, Lucy cracked a half-smile.
"Challenge accepted."
And without further ado, she took a running start and leapt off the side of the windowsill, the paper glider above her head catching in the breeze. Below her, she saw a thief still looking for her, and snickered as she flew right overhead without even being noticed.
Then she realized a slight flaw. She was losing a little height, and at this rate, she'd miss the window! What kind of reckless...
"Oh, right, the Ring," Lucy thought, as she pointed toward the window with her ring finger and said...
