Lucy entered the room with the window, carefully making sure nothing was hidden behind it. The room's door was wide open, and likely had been that way for at least a year. On the other side, the frame of a bed and a broken bedside table loomed over Lucy.
The window was wide open, and a cobweb laid in its corner; Lucy jumped and gasped in surprise as she saw the spider that had most likely weaved it, lying dead off to her side. Even a spider's carcass was intimidating when it was four times her size.
Lucy resolved to restore her size to normal as soon as she didn't need to avoid notice, as she climbed up the side of the wall to the window. Across the way, she saw a window on the side of another building, but how to get over there? No means was present for her to cross even the narrow gap between the houses...
