Halfway down the stairs, Jon stopped. Even though he loved the clothes he was wearing, he still felt embarrased about going out in public in them. Surely there was some other way to solve this problem? Taking a deep breath, Jon went back to his room, again, to think about all of his options. After a few minutes of deliberation, he had thought up a plan. Jon grabbed his phone and, after begrudgingly changing his lock screen to one of a kitten, called Karyn.
"Hey Jon, what's up?"
"Hey. I made a stupid wish and need your help. When's the soonest you can come over?"
"Already? It hasn't even been 24 hours since I got my... uh..."
Jon sighed. "Yeah."
"Wow, uh, guess I'll be there in 30 minutes."
"Thanks, Karyn. See ya."
30 minutes. It wasn't that long, but there was still a lot of... things he could do... in that time. Jon wondered what the best way to wait for Karyn would be...
