"I wish that the events of the last thirty-six hours were nothing more than a terrible nightmare that I am about to awake from; clutching the wishing stone in my right hand."
As Karyn watched the stone start to glow in her hand, a wave of sluggishness passed over her. Reality, itself, seemed to stop making sense and she tried to shout out something... anything... to Jon, but a deep, muffled whisper was all that escaped her lips. No more than a couple seconds later, her vision fell to darkness.
In another place, Karyn regained consciousness. Once sleep paralysis had released it's grip on Karyn, she darted out of her bed with enough force as to give any outside observer the impression that she had fallen asleep on a pile of hobo spiders.
She ran to her wall mirror and nearly ripped her sleepwear in two, in an attempt to disrobe. Words failed her as she found that her body had returned to it's original form - not only from Sarah's ill-hearted wishing, but from her own carelessnes, as well. Her hair had returned to it's original color, and her chest was back to it's own smaller (but much more welcome) size.
Too excited to think of the implications of her wish, she phoned up Jon.
"Huh? Hello?" came a groggy answer.
"Jon! Jon!" shouted Karyn. "It worked! We've reversed what that bitch did!"
Silence.
"Karyn? Is that you? I'm not following. What's going on?"
Just then Karyn was hit with the realization that she had managed to surgically remove the last three days from space and time. It only existed as no more than a (very vivid) memory in her mind.
"Nevermind that, Karyn-" said Jon, interrupting her thought process, "it couldn't possibly compare to what I have to show you when we get back to school..."
