"Er..what?", Sarah asked, bewildered.
Jon could hear Karyn sniggering. He still couldn't believe he hadn't thought of using the stone this way. Karyn was really pretty clever when she put her mind to it. If a magical wishing stone existed, she'd reasoned, then how do we know that other magical things didn't exist also? So Jon acted on her suggestion and wished to know if there was any other magic they could use.
Instantaneously, he learned about the Transform or Dare curse. The stone hadn't described it's origins to him, as that had been beyond the scope of the wish, but what it had donewas inform him that it existed, and how they could put it to use.
All he had to do was ask the intended victim, "Transform or dare?". He or she would then have one minute to choose between the two, or they'd get both. If he or she was the victim of the transformation, they would change to resemble what he described. If he or she chose dare instead, they would have to carry out the action, no matter what.
Of course, the first person to try it out on had been Karyn's idea also. She hated Sarah McMillan with a passion, and seemed to resent her even more after her accidental wish.
Glancing at his watch, Jon started sniggering with Karyn. Her minute was almost up.
"Look you creep, I don't know who you are, but if you don't explain yourself right now I'm hanging up!", Sarah exclaimed from the other end of the line.
