"oh, OK. I guess I'll wait." said Robert.
"Can't you use the bathroom upstairs?" said Jane.
"Yeah, but it's been a long drive home. I just want to sit down."

Robert checked his watch. It had been about 5 minutes, and Samantha still hadn't come out. He knocked on the door. "Samantha? this is Robert, Julia's brother. Could you go a bit faster?"
There was no response. "she's taking a bath," said Pamala.
Robert didn't believe her because
- this was only a half- bathroom
- there was no apparent running water
and - this was a slumber party, during which girls don't noramally take baths at 10:24
