Karyn had tried to get up out of her room to call Jon, thinking that he must have made a stupid wish, but her legs just wouldn't let her. Instead, she found herself in the centre of the discussion about boys at school, as Tiffany had decided that she wasn't being included in the talk and wanted to help her out: "Karyn, how's it going between you and Jon? Are you like finally dating or are you like still holding out or something?"
"Don't be ridiculous Tiffany, I have no interest in Jon. Besides, I am way out of his league" Karyn replied spontaneously as she motioned towards her boobs. Internally however, Karyn wondered where the fuck that bitchy attitude had come from, and put it down to the cheerleaders already rubbing off on her. And it was true what she said: sure she once was plain and boring but after the wish she had gotten an uptick in the looks department and decidedly more boys were looking at her breasts than before.
"Oh come on he's not that bad looking. Sure he's no Biff but his jawline is to die for! And don't get ahead of yourself either girl: nice hair and boobs don't get you everywhere in life!" Responded Sarah. Suddenly, images of a different Jon flooded Karyn's mind. A Jon who would actually be dating material for plenty of girls now and she did have to admit that he was kind of cute, or at least his face was. She wondered what she'd been thinking when she said he was out of her league, as now they were actually quite a good match: they both had a lot left asking for but they also had one or two really hot features.
While she was deep in thought the discussion rolled on and Nicole asked if they wanted to start doing each other's makeup.
"Well you can do it in the bathroom if you want but there's not much room there." Karyn said, but Sarah quickly responded: "Why would we even go to the bathroom Karyn? We have a vanity right here in your room!" And as if magic, a vanity appeared where once her bookcase had been and they all headed over as if it was nothing including Karyn, who wanted to say somethibg about this but somehow couldn't get the words out of her mouth.
As Karyn sat there watching the others talking about makeup, a subject she hadn't a clue about, Emma asked her to help her put on her makeup and trying to be polite she did. She still didn't know a thing about what for her was face painting only ever necessary for important social events, and even then she didn't like doing it, as it gave her a feeling of faking who she really was. When she was finished, Emma looked more like a clown than a hot cheerleader and she felt the need to apologise: "I'm sorry Emma, I tried my hand at it but I'm really just not good at this, I mean I don't even agree with the entire concept op makeup, faking yourself to look better for others." She said.
"What do you mean Karyn? You're the best at this of all of us, not to mention that you wear it like everywhere you go! What's gotten into you today?" Emma replied.
Suddenly, new memories flooded into her mind of getting up early these past few days to do makeup. She thought back to last week when she wished to have immaculate makeup skills so some boys would finally notice her. Hadn't I wished for blonde hair and big boobs though?, Karyn thought, no that couldn't be right, I've always had these assets. I'd wished for those skills and now I see everything that's wrong with people's makeup and have to perfect myself every morning or I'll feel naked, that's what's been bothering me these past few days.
And as she finished her recollection of those events, she looked back up and noticed how poorly everyone else had done theirs compared to how she'd done Emma up, and was shocked to find that she didn't have any on herself! "God girls, how tough is it to do your fucking makeup? Come on, let me show you how it's done." She said, barging others out of the way, "Like you should contour your tits to make 'em look bigger, how haven't you done this! I swear it's unbelievable how you girls have boyfriends but I've been single my entire life sometimes."
Thus she continued to give the girls a lecture in what was now her passion. I can't believe I used to be more clueless than them, thank god for Jon's stone. He's a cute boy you know, shame he doesn't care at all about his appearance or I wouldn't be so out of his league... Karyn thought as the discussion moved on to other things.
