Janet McMillian was just returning from her morning run when she took of her shoes in the foyer and stepped unexpectedly on the stone Sarah had carelessly tossed there. "Owww!!!" she cried Yelping in pain as she stumbled over to a chair and surveyed her foot for damage. Sure enough she found she had a big bruise alreadly. Furious she limped over to the offending stone and swept it up in her hand. Nothing was more irritating then taking your shoes off indoors and only moments later stepping on something sharp. Her foot hurt so badly. "I wish this pain would just go away" she said absently and was surprised when the next moment later her foot felt entirely better. The bruise was still there, but her foot felt fine. It was like magic.
Not being stupid she put two and two together and deduced that the stone that she had found on the floor had somehow granted her wish. Thrilled she was overcome with ideas about what to wish for next. A million dollars? A mansion? Eternal youth?
Her train of thought however was derailed though as her daughter Sarah entered the room and immedietly began whining about needing a new car or some such thing she didn't need. She was such a spoiled brat. It was exhausting being her mother. Irritated Janet squeezed the stone and...
