At the age of 17, Princess Charity was the eldest daughter in her family and obviously the most important - or so she wanted everyone to think. The most courteous, polite and well-dressed lady in attendance at any social function (and she attended them all), but behind closed doors Charity's true nature came forward.

Spoiled, greedy & Vain, Charity demanded as much attention as she could get. She spent all day lounging in bed, filling her face with sweets, humiliating her servants or stealing jewellery and toys from her younger siblings. Charity always got away with it too, for her aged father King Richard could never see her as anything other than his precious little girl.

Prince Roderick was widely considered to be kind and honest, perhaps even too honest for a would-be future king. But if he had any major fault, it would be the respect he gives his female siblings - or the lack of it. While he loved them very much, Rod in no way considered the girls to be his equal. Purity was often put out by her brother's frank refusal to take her seriously, but Charity constantly found his underestimations of her maddening. Nowadays she refused to talk to him altogether.

And so, the three siblings lived together in their father's grand castle. The days passed slowly and with little circumstance, barring the occasional dragon- or witch-related incident. Nothing however, was ever quite like the adventure that began when a certain magic wishing stone (complete with wooden box and mysterious yet informative note addressed to someone called "Jon") fell into the hands of...
