Crystal looked at the wishing stone in her hand. "Wow. I don't believe it... I can have everything I ever wanted! But I should be careful... start small." She searched her mind for something to wish for, but couldn't really come up with anything good. And she had work to do. As hard as it was, she tried to put the stone out of her mind until the day was done.
After she got home, her mind drifted to David, her husband. Maybe she could do something for him. He was a good guy, and she loved him. Perhaps this would be the perfect way to add a spark to their relationship.
"Should I tell him?" she wondered. Why not? If there was anybody she could share this with, it was him. "Let's see, he should on his way home from work right now. Maybe I'll wish him up a little surprise now as kind of a prank, and tell him all about it when he gets home." Unfortunately, Crystal was still unaware of the limits of the stone: that it changes reality and people's memories, and that the changes are permanent.
Crystal chuckled as she began. "I wish that David's wardrobe was identical to mine." The stone grew warm in her hand...
