Crystal looked at the wishing stone in her hand. "Wow. I don't believe it... I can have everything I ever wanted!" She searched her mind for something to wish for, but couldn't really come up with anything good for herself.
Then her mind drifted to David, her husband. Maybe she could do something for him. He was a good guy, and she loved him, but sometimes she got fed up with his antics. She knew he was going to be going on a camping trip with his buddies for the weekend. She had tried talking him into getting tickets to the ballet (it had been a while since their last date), but he flatly refused, and seemed to take even the proposition as an affront to his manhood. But now, as she looked at the stone, she realized she could change that.
Unfortunately, Crystal was still unaware of the limits of the stone: that it changes reality and people's memories, and that the changes are permanent. But, what she didn't know couldn't keep her from saying the first thing that came to her mind.
"I wish that David had the same likes and dislikes that I do."
