"I wish that David and I would swap wardrobes."
She felt a weird sensation and look down at herself. Gone was her white turtleneck sweater, navy blue skirt, high heeled shoes, nylons, bra, and panties. In their place was what she recognized as David's grey business suit with his white collared shirt and red neck tie. She could also feel that she was now wearing boxers.
"It worked!" she giggled to herself at the thought of her husband, probably in the middle of a business meeting, now wearing her clothes. She also took note of the fact that the clothes she was wearing seemed like they were made to fit her body, she imagined David's clothes would be very baggy on her, but this suit, while clearly menswear, seemed tailor made to fit her.
She pushed that thought out of her mind and giggled again at how embarrassed David must be at that moment. She sat down at her desk and was about to call him to ask how he was doing, when her phone rang.
"Hello?" she answered, thinking maybe it was David, wondering why he was suddenly wearing her outfit.
"Hey, Crystal, it's Bill."
Bill was one of David's best friends and drinking buddies, why would she be calling her at all, let alone at work?
"Yes, Bill? What is it?"
"You still in for this weekend?"
Her mind boggled, "This weekend? What's this weekend?"
"Don't tell me you forgot? It's Larry's bachelor party, remember? We all said we'd chip in and rent a hotel suite and get a poker game going, get a good buzz on, and then we bring in the stripper, man, it's gonna be a blast, how could you have forgotten about this?!"
Crystal was very confused. Why would Bill invite her to a bachelor party? She did remember that David was planning to go to a bachelor party that Saturday, so she was planning on going out with her friends that night.
Bill continued, "You even went through the trouble of convincing David that it was okay, and that he should go out that night and have fun with his gal pals."
"Gal pals?"
"Yeah, who are those two that he hangs out with? Carol and Jane?"
Crystal was shocked, Carol and Jane were her best friends, but the way Bill was sounding, they were David's. And Bill was talking like he was hers.
"Bill, I gotta go, I've just got a lot of work to do right now, talk to you later..."
She absent mindedly hung up the phone, wondering what was going on. It was then that she glanced down at the photographs she had in frames on her desk. One was of her and David on their vacation last summer, only now she was wearing the Hawaiian shirt and khaki pants and he was wearing the sun dress and straw hat with a pink ribbon on it. And the photo next to it, which used to have her standing in between her two friends Carol and Jane at a barbeque they had had at their house a few months back now had her standing between Bill and Larry, and she recognized that she was wearing the outfit that she remember David had been wearing that day. But then she saw the third picture, their wedding picture, the day she had worked so hard leading up to. Only now, her husband was wearing the dress, and she was wearing a tux.
Having not realized the full power of the stone, and being overwhelmed by all this, she fainted.
