"I've always wanted to see a haunted house," Sarah smirked as she looked up at the old building in front of her.
"Yeah," Biff grinned, "this is going to be a night to remember!"
"I'm not sure everyone agrees," replied Sarah, gesturing towards their remaining two companions "“ Karyn's boyfriend Mitch and Jon's current girlfriend Chloe.
Karyn had met Mitch during her second semester at Gape after she and Jon had a disagreement or, as Sarah coined it, a 'friend spat'. Biff decided to introduce them and she was immediately attracted to Mitch's passion and (sometimes brutal) honesty. He was a handsome but skinny guy, and an even bigger computer nerd than Jon. He was also straight edge which was amusing, since he looked and dressed so much like a pothead. He got on well with Jon too, as they shared many net- and game-related interests.
Jon and Chloe had not yet been dating for even a month, but they had shared a fast and affectionate relationship. Chloe was a short and cute brunette, though secretly both Karyn and Sarah agreed she was vapid and naive, if not outright dumb.
