Jon and Karyn stopped at a Hardee's off the interstate for lunch. Jon brought the stone in with him and set it on the table. "I've been thinking," he said as the two began eating, "I think I have an interesting idea to room together and I wanted to run it by you."
"Shoot," Karyn replied.
"Here's what I'm thinking: we wish that you and I each have two dorm rooms: one in a girl's dorm, one in a guys. We have carbon copies of all our possesions in each room. We make it so that everybody think that two girls named Jen and Karyn live in the girl's room and two guys named Jon and Karl live in the guy's room. We don't change our bodies, we make it so that we can each put up an illusion whenever we want so that everybody except each other thinks that we are Jen or Karl."
"So let me see if I understand this," Karyn slowly answered, "we pretty much stay the same except we gain the ability to create a facade to make everybody think we're somebody different?"
"Exactly," Jon replied. "We can use the two rooms interchangeably and get to observe how the other half lives!"
Karyn chewed her burger thoughtfully then grinned. "I like it," she said.
