And then he touched the stone and made his first wish. "I wish they'd spell our names properly on all the paperwork. Sheesh, why do people keep doing this?"
Then he dug around in his pocket for the college admission letter. Sure enough, it was now spelled "Jon". And he was certain his friend's would be spelled "Karyn". His next wish was, "I wish that Karyn were on campus, meeting as if we had left home earlier, gotten to campus, gone to our dorm rooms, unpacked, and met on campus again.
Everything changed around them.
"Ae you sure that's okay?" asked Karyn. We both have roommates, right? We could have met them when we unpacked. Then we'd go back to our dorms and they'd think we met them when we haven't.
"Okay, Karyn. I wish that we know who our roomates are."
"I don't believe this!" yelled Karyn.
"What's wrong?" asked Jon.
"Only my roommate. She's...."
