Karyn (the original Karyn) was thoroughly confused. And a bit overwhelmed. Jon now apparently thought he was her. Somehow, they were the same person, yet different. Looking around the mall, Karyn noticed that nobody else seemed to notice that a boy was suddenly dressed like a girl and had long blond hair.
"Earth to Karyn," Jon said, tapping his foot impatiently, "You seem really out of it today."
"Yeah, sorry. I guess I didn't sleep well."
"What are you talking about?" Jon said. "We slept great. We had that dream about Taylor Lautner, remember?"
Karyn did remember, and apparently Jon did too. The thought made her shudder. They were sharing dreams, too. Karyn was about to press Jon for more details, when Sarah spotted them and walked over.
"Hey Karyn, hey Karyn," Sarah said.
"Hey Karyn," Jon said to Sarah.
"Where's Jon?" Sarah asked.
Jon shrugged, while Karyn spoke up. "He said he wasn't feeling well."
Jon looked at Sarah. "We were thinking of using the gun on Zoe."
"It's about time we tried that thing. Won't it be so weird to see somebody else acting just like us?" Sarah said.
"I know," Jon said, "We've always wanted a sister. Now we can have one, a twin even!"
Karyn sighed, wondering if this was such a good idea.
