"Are they working?" asked Jon.
"I don't know. Try thinking of something."
"Like what?"
"I don't know." She thought for a moment. "What do you think of my shirt?"
"I like it, expecially the way your breasts look in it." Jon was stunned. "I ... I can't believe I said that out loud."
Karyn was a bit stunned herself. "Jon? Are you attracted to me?"
Jon and Karyn had been friends since childhood, and Karyn never suspected that Jon had feelings for her: genuine, sexual, or otherwise.
