Karyn wasn't quite sure who she wanted to test the device with. Sure, the mall was filled with some interesting subjects, but none really caught her interest.
"Well?" Jon said, "Are you going to try it sometime today?"
"Just give me a second, I'm thinking."
"I swear, women can never make up their mind."
"What was that?"
"You heard me. Women can never make up their mind. They take forever just to figure out what to wear, who to date, even what kind of salad they eat."
"Okay, buddy," Karyn said, "You just crossed a very thin line."
Karyn turned the device so it was pointing at herself, then pressed the green button. Then she turned it around and pointed the antenna at Jon, turned the dial to 80%, and pressed the red button. Jon's eyes rolled back into his head for a second, then returned to normal. His posture shifted slightly.
"So Jon, how you feeling girl?" Karyn asked.
"Fine," Jon said, "But..."
