Jon sighed. He spun around, admiring the suit from all angles. The girl in the mirror smiled back at him, which was still decidedly weird given that he didn't feel like he was smiling right now. Still, he had to admit, he looked great!

"All right. So what's on the agenda for today?"

"More training. Takeda wanted to have you in the suit for it this morning. I suppose he didn't want a repeat performance of last night's adventures. But first, let's get some breakfast!"

The food here really was better than he would have expected, though he was a bit surprised to find himself eating a bowl of fruit and yogurt rather than the bacon and eggs he would have chosen a few days ago!

After breakfast, Jon headed to the testing chamber again, where Dr. Takeda was waiting.

"Good morning, Supergirl!" he said with a grin.

Jon smiled back. "Same to you. Shall we get started?"

"Yes, indeed! Today we're going to focus on learning to fly and fight while wearing your super suit."

"You two have fun," said Dr. Bradford, "I'm heading back to my lab to catch up on some paperwork."

"Thanks, Doc!" Jon said with a smirk. Bradford grimaced a little and rolled her eyes. "I'll have to see about programming some decorum into you, she said, winking, and headed out.

"You better watch out, she might follow through on that!" said Dr. Takeda.

"Really?"

"Well, she could. But I doubt she would do something so petty. Dr. Bradford is one of the good ones. Anyway, shall we go over your suit?"

"Sure!"

"It's mostly for looks, aside from the thrusters built into your boots. But I made sure to include some protective elements as well. Even though you instinctively nullify the mass of any bullets headed your way, the suit is designed to be bulletproof. Also, your cape is quite useful, if I say so myself. It's nearly impenetrable, and also highly insulating. If you use it to block with, you could even stop a laser beam! Oh, and it will also help you fly. Observe."

He pressed a couple of buttons on his tablet, and Jon's cape suddenly snapped to the left. Jon let out a feminine squeak of surprise.

"What was that?"

"The cape has micro-actuated threads woven into it. Essentially, you can use it like a big rudder to help control your direction when flying. Also..." he poked a couple buttons and the cape began gently waving, as though there were a mild breeze in the room.

"You made a Cape of Billowing?"

"Well, we want you to be able to make a grand entrance!"
