"Maybe we should try it out," Karyn suggested.
"Where?"
Karyn thought about it and then decided to use it outside.
They walked outside into the parking lot. They watched people driving around, parking, walking around in and out of the mall. Then Karyn turned over the hour glass and immediately everyone stopped moving. It was amazing.
Karyn walked up to a couple of guys and touched them. "They're still warm, but they're not breathing." She turned around. "Jon?"
But Jon was frozen in place, too.
