"I have an idea, Jon..." Karyn said, trying to position herself comfortably in the cramped stall. "I don't know if it will work, though..."
"Go for it."
"Let me run a few tests first." Jon nodded. "I wish I was wearing my favorite hat." Suddenly, a beret appeared on Jon's head, perched in a very feminine style. "I see... It doesn't switch possessive pronouns... meaning that when someone says 'my' or 'your,' it will be from the position of the speaker." Karyn sometimes thought she might make an excellent English grammar teacher.
"Now, on to my next test." She cleared her throat. "I wish I hadn't worn this hat today." The jauntily perched chapeau vanished from Jon's head, probably to reappear in Karyn's room. A minimal wish, but it proved to Karyn that they could undo wishes from the skull. She relayed this knowledge to Jon, who was extatic, and quite releaved when Karyn resolved his 'downstairs situation.' "I wish I was wearing Jon's favorite boxers," Karyn said, laughing only after the words had come out, so as to not botch the wish, "Now there's a sentence I thought I'd never say."
Jon smiled to Karyn and ducked out of the stall, poking his head out of the bathroom door. No one was in the hallway, so he and Karyn quickly left the men's room behind them.
