"...your house, Jon." Jon agreed and the two of them carefully made their way out of the mall, careful to avoid anyone speaking carelessly the words "I wish." Before long, they were sitting on the couch in Jon's living room. Jon picked up the remote and was about to turn on the TV when Karyn stopped him.
"You just get a ridiculously powerful magical relic and you decide that this is a good time for TV?" she said
"I just need some time to digest all of this, Karyn," Jon said. "This will help me get my mind off of things."
"What if someone on television makes a wish? Would it work in the same way?"
"That's a good question, Karyn. I guess it couldn't hurt to find out. I mean, you could always reverse the wishes. Let's see what's on."
Jon picked the remote up again and pressed the power button.
