"I don't believe it. How could you have planned this?" asked Scott. "Neither of us even knew about the medallion until Dad told us."
"Of course I couldn't have planned it," said Sally. "What makes you think I planned it?"
"Because you're trying to get me to go out with a guy. Which means you agreed to go out with him first. And you're a lesbian. You'd never agree to that unless you were planning ahead of time to push him onto me."
Sally laughed. "Who said it was a guy? Your date is with Alyssa Creel. Have fun."
"Really? I saw her with a guy once, I didn't know that she was...."
"She's bi," said Sally.
"She's by what?"
"She's bi," said Sally.
"Oh," said Scott. "Well, anyway, I don't know anything about how two girls go on a date."
"It's the same as anyone else dating," replied Sally. "There isn't some kind of secret dyke handshake, you know. Besides, all that medallion stuff means that I'm really you, right? So if I can go out with her, then you can too."
"How am I supposed to act like you? I mean, I know a lot of things about you, but not everything. The first time she mentions what happened on your last date I'll be caught."
"We've never gone out before," said Sally. "So you don't have to worry about that."
"When were you two supposed to get together?" asked Scott.
"Not long at all. In fact you probably should go meet her in the next half hour. Now, here's what I was planning for tonight...."
