“Thank you for your time, Robert.” Rebbeca Fine said smiling warmly at the football star who was currently sitting in front of her desk. “I hope that we have been able to come to an understanding between each other?” She asked.
Robert nodded.
“Of course ma’am.” Rebbeca smiled again. “I hadn’t realised how beneficial it would be if we had the cheerleader coach train us for a few days. Thank you for the explanation.”
“No problem at all Robert.” Rebbeca replied standing up. “And remember, anytime you have any trouble with anything. Please, don’t hesitate to contact me.” She shook Robert’s hand.
“Now if you’ll excuse me. I have a phone call to make.” Robert nodded, excusing himself from the room.
Rebbeca waited until the door had closed before she sat back down and picked up the phone. She had to wait a few moments before the person on the other end picked up.
“It’s me.” She said suddenly sounding very serious. “I’ve just dealt with one of the football players. We shouldn’t be having any more problems regarding the team.” Rebecca paused as she listened to the person on the other end.
“The Gibsons?” She asked. She hadn’t seen them all weekend. Of course, there wasn’t really much need to. Both Jon and Zoe were nearing the final stages, but then again, there were the problems that she had been having with Linda.
“Well, both Jon and Zoe are doing fine.” Rebecca told the person. “But we do seem to be having some difficulties with the mother.” Another pause. “Yes, she keeps relapsing and having episodes where she seems to be realising that something’s going on.”
Rebecca Fine frowned as she listened to what the person was suggesting. She didn’t like what they had in mind. Their process was much more thorough and while successful, there were side effects. Which is why Rebecca prefered a more direct approach with her clients.
“I see. Well as it so happens, I do actually have an appointment with Linda this afternoon.” She didn’t really but Rebecca could easily make time for one.
“Let me talk to her and see how she is before we make a final decision.”
Rebecca could tell that her employer didn’t like that. They wanted results and they wanted them now but they also knew that Rebecca was true to her word and could get the results that they wanted without causing a scene.
