"I guess it didn't work," Karyn said. "I mean, the bracelet let me tell the lie. I guess it's broken or something."
"What are you talking about?" Jon said. "What you said was true. I mean, no offense, but we both know it. I've just got the legs for it. Why would you try saying something that was true if you're supposed to tell a lie."
Karyn was confused at what Jon had said, until she looked down.
