Mrs. Richardson said "Dearie, I found it. As they say, finders keepers."
"Oh, I know that. It's yours." But Karyn still seemed concerned. And Mrs. Richardson noticed.
"What's wrong, dear?"
"That bracelet isn't like any other bracelet. It's magic."
"Dearie, there's no such thing as magic." And then, because her statement was turned into truth, the truth bracelet lost its magical abilities.
"I know that, Mrs. Richardson. It's all just fantasy." Karyn didn't know why she was talking with her so she said good-bye and continued to walk around in the mall with Jon.
