Decided to keep this mostly focused on the new Fiona's POV, but I might hop back for a chapter to establish what's going on with the other four briefly.

Oh yes!!! I loved this chapter. You've been doing a really nice job into making their slow transition and you nailed Sarah's changes in this one. All the gang gathered together in the hot tub? In their swimming outfits and all those hormones running? Nice. Lucy and Laura conversations, as well as Jon and Sarah's will be interesting, especially about their newfound lust. Will Biff and Molly "slow-bully" Simon and Zoe? I got a feeling that things will heat up and this night will be a memorable night for many of them. Really looking forward to Laura/John, Lucy/Sarah and Molly/Biff hot action, and curious about how Zoe will deal with Athena, now that she is becoming more attached to Simon. Thanks for writing.

There might be a problem when new Jon finds the stone, I anticipate shenanigans

This is a branch where I have some fun ideas that are all fairly far into the story, so I feel like I'm having to get through a lot of set up to get there. Debating employing a few timeskips, or focusing exclusively on Jon's POV to get there quicker.

Djinn allow for romantic partners of any sort, including more than one, which is helped by their alternative magical reproductive system. Later in life, Jasmine could literally blend her magical essence with both Sarah and Karyn, creating a child from all three mothers. Older Djinn are also quite proficient with minor perception altering magic, allowing her to potentially make people not think it odd that she's married to two women if they one day get married. That's actually something Djinn have done historically to make them working in masculine fields or being married to women seem unremarkable. So it won't be a problem as far as Jasmine's family is concerned, have yet to decide about Dryads and Dragons, but probably all three races will be cool with polygamy. I'm thinking for Dragonnewts it's much more of a class thing, IE are any potential suitors sufficiently wealthy to be a good match.

This is showing a lot of promise. There are multiple directions the story could go from here. We could end up with all the rifts between the 3 girls ended or become even wider through competition and secrets coming out unexpectedly. Have you decided yet if one or more of the magical races represented allow for multiple life partners?

I like the similes of Sunshine and Mound of gold, as used by the two secretly supernatural girls towards Jasmine, it absolutely captures the essence of hat is their most primarily necessary thing - Dragons need gold, Plants need Sunshine, and this delicious Triangle of jealousy and desire, it could only get better if Tiffany was a succubus, deliberately stoking these fires for her sick delight LOL

Decided to go with a version of the idea suggested by Lucus Rose on the last chapter, with the added wrinkle that Karyn and Sarah are both magical but don't know Jasmine is and vice versa. We'll see Sarah's POV next, but suffice to say she's also quite into Jasmine, just a good deal more Tsundere about it. Eventually all three girls will end up as a polycule. Might go back and do a branch with the original idea of human Karyn and Kitsune Yuki somewhere down the line.

What I'm wondering is, do other magical creatures exist in this setting? And if so, are any of them among the other members of the cast? I think it'd be interesting going off what Asteria said a few chapters ago, about Jon potentially being turned into a fairy or succubus.

Go for it Sage, I tried to make the initial branch of this a good jumping off point to turn Jon into a variety of magical creatures. Going the multi-route with Karyn and Sarah could definitely be neat, but at this point I'm leaning towards Yuki and Jasmine getting together. That said, Jasmine being the oblivious Archie to Karyn and Sarah's Betty and Veronica is a fun idea.

While Karyn is an expected pairing, perhaps switching Karyn's and Sarah's dislike for each other to stem from a competition over an attraction to Jasmine would open up more plot possibilities. Particularly if Sarah was also trying to hide this from her circle to maintain her position at school and her parents who wouldn't approve for whatever reasons you decided to come up with.

This is incredible! I'm loving it so far, which of course, guarantees you will run out of juice now and never add another episode to it LOL, I'm tempted to branch off of this but have Jon be descended from the Tuatha De Danaan instead of Djinni .

Hmm, I am seriously considering having Athena be an actual witch in this branch since we've established magic being a thing beyond the stone already. I'm unsure if she'll be Zoe's best friend in this reality; that is to say, I don't know if being a Djinn, having a second mother and big sister, not having Roger in her life, etc. would alter Zoe enough that she's not a goth in the first place. I'm also playing with the idea of at least one Lakeview student also secretly being a magical creature of some kind, although not a djinn, lots to think about

Here's a knock-on effect for you: imagine how Athena DeVries, the super occult goth and occasionally an actual witch, is going to react when she finds out her best friend's entire family is actually genies in disguise...

Hmm. Have you thought about a minority character? Melony Tyne, Janelle Carter... Could always have your dimension gender bend an existing FB male character or pull from a branch that introduced others. You might get more replies on Discord for questions like these, too.

Any opinions on a pairing for Jasmine in this branch? I feel like Karyn is the obvious answer, and I'm not opposed to going in that direction, but I'm also open to other options. Jasmine's new nature could easily have a knock on effect of changing her relationships with various people.

Fair enough, I'll add that in the next chapter as she gets a better look at herself. That chapter had a planned description of the genie version of Linda too, so that's easy enough to add in. Jon will also have a human passing form without the blue skin.

Interesting idea. However, I think it'd be good to have a written description of Jon's new form, instead of relying on a picture.That way, if the picture doesn't appear for whatever reason, we still know what the genie looks like.

Ugh, sometimes I feel my reach exceeds my grasp with this branch, doing five simultaneous swaps. Mostly I've been bouncing between the Alyssa/Jon stuff and the other four, but to a degree I kinda wish I'd done this branch as just those two swapping.

Current plan is for Jon to switch with Fiona, Leonard with Elaina, Karyn with Mr. McMillan, Kyla with Susan and Lily with Stu.

Ah no they do! I just didn’t make it clear. What I meant is they don’t remember what was going on in their new lives. I’ll revise it to make that clearer.

I personally don't like the fact that they don't remember their former lives, but this is a brilliant concept with a lot of potential!

Looks like between Gladys' stunning weight loss and the confrontation between Nadine and Sarah, the school's population is going to have a lot to talk about and gossip about between classes. And so much mystery here. What is this new church and the Cotierettes all about? We'll have to wait and see.

A good start to a potentially interesting storyline.

I mean, it isn't the direction I would have taken but it's cool, I had no intentions of getting involved with the crazy world of Bible bashers be my guest and have fun, I will be watching to see how this works out.

Wow, a bunch of chapters in a row :). That's really nice. I loved the scene with Jon and Karyn and also the nice use of pic to depict Laura's bath. Lydias transformation is also very interesting! This chapter, however, was arguably the most important one, because now you revealed to us, readers, what is really happening and what is you plan. And I think it was the most clever path to follow: making them switch roles, wih a full transformation, but keeping some aspects of their former selves is way more interesting than the full body swap that would return us to the status quo. The fact that they all will sleep "in the proper beds" will lead to some very hot scenes, right? ;) Can't wait :)

I've got to be honest - until last night, I had no idea what a "Karen" was. It's kind of a funny weird story there. I saw that you posted this episode, but I didn't have a chance to read it, because I was heading into work. At work, a co-worker just happened to mention that someone was a "Karen" and I recalled back to this episode, that I hadn't read yet. She explained what it meant, finding it astonishing that I hadn't heard of it before. I just thought it was a weird coincidence that she was talking about something that had to do with your episode, without me even saying anything about it. I occasionally do talk about some of my stories to my co-workers, but I get the idea that they aren't too interested. They're far more interested in discussing whatever video game they're currently playing.

This pace certainly feels really good to me ;)
