James took several steps back. Her brain kept slipping gears. Out of nowhere a thought popped into her head, I must look like the guy in bound when he opened the suitcase and there was no money her calves bumped the bed as she backed up and, overbalanced, she fell into a sitting position. "oof" she said as the impact and subsequent reflection bounced her up and down. The bra she was wearing did a good job of containing her breasts, but they still bounced causing her to grimace.

James just sat there for a minute as she thought about everything that had happened in the last week. She burst out laughing. It was a shocked, nearly hysterical laugh. "oh my god of course." She thought back to the 'robbery' of her apartment. To Jill's sudden return, and finally to her having to "hide" at Tom's apartment. they must of starting setting this up almost from the moment Tom pulled out of me. she thought. To her surprise, she was smiling. Somewhere along the last week she had lost interest in changing back to her old self, but if the real Jill wasn't back then her options had just multiplied considerably.

She stood up slowly and carefully pushed the drawer shut. She tuned and quickly walked out of Erin's room. She went to the kitchen and after rummaging through the freezer found a bottle of vodka. She poured herself a generous helping and sat at the island to have a think. why did they do it? she thought. It had to have started with Tom, as much as it pained James to think that it was the only answer that made sense. She was positive that Tom and Erin hadn't known each other before that night in the club. Besides Tom was the only person who could have told Erin about the medallion. she started to cry. It embarrassed and humiliated her, but it hurt he was her friend how could he do this to her? She thought back to Tom's embarrassingly awkward attempt to ask Jill out. James had thought at the time that Jill could have been a little gentler in letting him down, but after spending a week with every man she meets staring at her chest and breathing though their mouth as they tried to talk to her, she could see how one's patience with men in general could wear thin. Is that what this was about? she thought. Did he do this so he could have me in her place? the thought was simultaneously sweet and enraging in an odd cocktail that James couldn't sort out.

Her first thought for the future after finding the medallion had been to return to her, well technically 'Jill's' old life, but now she saw she couldn't do that. If she did, then Tom and Erin would know something was up. She had work to do first. There was a part of her that almost felt like thanking them. She didn't think she would have discovered how wonderful being a woman could be if it wasn't for them, but the overwhelming part of her was still angry at the betrayal and she smiled as she began to plan her revenge. they would never know what hit them she took another sip of her drink.
