Sarah took the time to visit the girl’s bathroom on her way to her next class. She wanted to examine the handbag that she now had. She placed it on the counter and emptied the contents.

To her surprise, everything had changed inside. Instead of the expensive iPhone in a pink case, there was a cheaper version with a plain casing. Sarah picked it up and looked at it. Fortunately, the security code was the same so Sarah was able to scroll through the contents. Interestingly, everything on the phone was the same as normal.

“If someone is playing a prank on me,” Sarah thought “then they’re going into great detail about this.” She sighed as she put the phone back in the bag. Next came the lipstick and wallet, that seemed normal enough (although the wallet was different to what she usually had), then came the hand sanitiser and band-aids.

“Wait, why do I have band-aids in my bag?” Sarah thought to herself. She looked at the rest of the contents. They, in fact, looked like something that would belong in her Mom’s bag, not hers.

“OMG!?” Sarah thought “Am I swapping stuff with my Mom?” She panicked about this as she didn’t want to get old but then she realised something. “My Mom doesn’t wear pants like these.”

If she wasn’t swapping with her Mom, then whose was she?
