I looked around the now deserted yard and decided it was time to slope off home. Tomorrow was a new day and there was only one way to find out what it would bring...

As I made my way home I thought about trying to reverse Karyn's wish. While wishes couldn't be reversed directly, perhaps they could be altered by something like setting a time limit on them.

I was so lost in thought that I hadn't realised that I had reached my house. Looking up I put my keys into the door and entered.

"Mom! I'm home!" I announced as I shut the door behind me. Mom appeared at the doorway to the kitchen.

"Hi sweetie." She said smiling. "How was your day?"

"Fine" I replied. I decided that I wouldn't tell mom about the stone. At least not yet. I headed upstairs to my room while mom went back into the kitchen.

Entering my room I sat down on my bed and took my phone and the stone out of my pockets. Placing the box on the bed next to me I dialled Karyn's number.

"Hey Karyn" I said once she had answered it. "I think that I've found a way to undo your wish." I told her.

"Really?" Karyn replied. "How?"

"We put a time limit on it. That way your original wish could be granted but then altered to reverse it."

"That sounds simple enough." Karyn said. "Give it a try"

"OK." I said. I picked up the stone with my free hand. "I wish that when Karyn had wished for long hair and big boobs. She had wished only to have them for an hour."

I looked away as I sensed the stone granting my wish. "Did it work?" I asked Karyn.

"Yes, it did. My hair's back to normal!" She replied happily. "Thanks Jon."

"No problem. Glad I could help." I said.

"So we just have to make sure that whenever we make a wish we can reverse it by putting some sort of time limit on it." Karyn said.

"Yeah." I replied. I heard my mother calling me. "Karyn, I've got to go. I'll see you tomorrow at school."

"Bye" Karyn said as I hung up. I put the stone back in it's box and went downstairs to see what mom needed.
