The original Karyn walked to get her lunch hoping to see Jon one more time before he left for the wedding. She walked down the corridor and turned the corner just in time to see her Mom walking out the front door of the school with Jon walking beside her.
Karyn watched the mother and daughter walking out the door together noticing once again something strange in the way Jon carried himself. From behind if she hadn’t known better, she would swear it was a girl walking happily with her mother. The new wish must have kicked in by now she thought. Then she remembered when they had met that morning before school. She had noticed then that Jon was holding himself like a girl and that was before the wish was even made.
She would to talk to him about it later. Then she remembered that, that would now be on Monday after school. For the next three days Jon thought he was Karyn. She had really wanted to go to the wedding but once again her temper had got the better of her. With a slightly sad look in her eyes she turned to get her lunch before the good stuff was gone.
Just before she did, she turned towards the door again to see Jon and her mom getting in to her moms’ car. “Enjoy the wedding Jon, see you on Monday.” She said softly and went off to get her lunch.
