"Man, I wish that this place had some cute waitresses that would wait on the customers instead of having them get their own food. They wouldn't have lines like this if it was like that," said Joseph, unaware of the building around him reshaping itself.
John, however, noticed the change in the architecture. The line to the buffet area where the vats of food and plates of pre-prepared meals vanished and in its place were more tables and booths. John noticed the neon sign reshape itself from 'Ed's Cafe' to simply 'Ed's'. A desk with a cash register popped up next to the exit. A nice-looking girl, that was most likely a college student, with a nametag that read Laura manned the area. She took a patrons ticket and money, typed in the amount given to her, and then gave the customer their receipt while she gave him a smile and thank you.
The girl then walked over to John and Joseph, who were next in line, and said,"Table for two? Smoking or non-smoking?"
Joseph told her "two and non-smoking", the girl then led them back to a table near the restroom.
"Well, their goes one wish and nothing too drastic seems to have happened. I also didn't have to coax it out of him. Hopefully the other two wishes will be just as easy," thought John as he walked to the table and had a seat.
