He was about to make a wish, when he heard his parents arguing downstairs. That's odd, he thought they never argue, at least not like this.
"Linda, we need to do something about this!" yelled his father. "I don't want my son to be a sissy! You let him wear that nightgown to sleep in, and I saw him yesterday running through the sprinkler in the backyard wearing a bikini! I'm surprised you don't let him go to school in a skirt!"
"Harold, it's fine," assured Linda. "It's just a phase, Mikey'll grow out of it."
"Don't start that again!" Harold yelled. "You said the same thing about Zoe, and look how she turned out! I've seen her shaving her face, and remember when I caught her stealing my Playboys!?"
Jon, listening out of sight, smiled. He knew what to wish for next. "I wish my parents would swap wardrobes and personalities, but as little else as possible would change." There was a flash, and Jon smiled. Although he wondered why he added the 'as little else as possible would change' part. How would that work out?
