The evening had gone smoothly for Jon. He'd gotten home, finished his homework early and enjoyed watching his sister's new behaviour patterns.
She had arrived home from school after him, having stopped at some shops before heading home. In one hand she held a bundle of pink and white daisies. In the other she held many bags from many stores. He was pretty sure he saw the names of clothing stores and accessory stores he knew Zoe wouldn't be caught dead in a couple days ago. It was amazing how quickly she changed just by changing her dreams.
Dinner time was also interesting. He sat across from his formerly gothic sibling and couldn't help but stare (the same problem the rest of the family was having). Sure, she was still wearing black, but now she wore a black spaghetti strapped top that showed ample cleavage and a short black skirt. Her face had lost all of it's gothic adornment, and in it's place was some pink lipstick, blush, and blue eye shadow.
Not only did she look different, but she was behaving different. Each little joke their father made she giggled as if she genuinely found them funny. When asked a question, she went on and on with her answer, as if she was so full of energy and excitement that she couldn't stop herself. Her whole demeanor was changed.
Jon wondered how far he could push his sister. Would she eventually resist his changes? If he stopped attending her dreams, would she revert to her old self?
He shook the questions off. They were for another day. He had other plans that needed flushing out. Tonight he was dreaming with someone new. Tonight he'd be visiting Athena DeVries.
