David had to get out of there. He had to get away from the object, before there was nothing left of himself.
As he stumbled out of the room, he felt a weight forming on his chest. He looked down and saw that his shirt was being pushed outward.
Oh my god! I'm growing breasts! he thought, as he made his way down the hall.
By the time he reached the front room of the underground facility (the place where he first met Richard), his breasts stopped growing and ended up at about a C-cup size. Maybe he had gotten far enough away from the object.
"Richard!" David yelled out. He was stunned at his voice, which was no longer his own, but rather that of a woman.
Richard was supervising the scientists who were still putting the fire out. He turned around and saw David, but he didn't know it was David.
"Who are you? How did you get down here?" he demanded, marching towards David.
"It's me. David. The object. It turned me into a woman. The same thing happened to Tim."
"That's impossible."
"The object is glowing. Right now. I think that if anyone goes near it, they may end up like Tim and me. Except ... I don't think I got the full brunt of it. Tim didn't know who he was. It's like his mind was changed in some way." David looked down at himself. "Man, I hope this is reversible."
"Before we do anything, let's see what happened. There's a security station this way," Richard said, guiding David down another corridor. "We can check the security footage for the lab."
