"Hold them as long as you can, girls!" Lisa called out, leading several of her followers out the back. In their rush, however, a chair was knocked over. Jen tried to follow Lisa out the back, but tripped on the chair.
The Nerd clique soon had Jen and the other girls who had been left behind tied to chairs. "So, you're from the Feminism clique, led by Lisa Williams, correct?" Jay Duncan asked.
"Of course we are, you nerdy male pig!" Jen spat.
"Do you even know what feminism is?" Jay asked.
"Yes, it's taking control over the world away from filthy male chauvinist pigs!" Jen said.
Jay shook his head. "Actually, that's a common misconception. Feminism isn't about hating men at all. Nor is it about dominating them or turning the whole traditional gender roles into the polar opposite with men being submissives and women being the dominant ones. No, that's not what feminism is about at all."
Several of the nerds, both male and female, nodded in agreement as Jay continued. "Feminism is about equality. It's about demanding women be treated equally to men as opposed to being treated like inferiors or being paid less for the same work or amount of work as their male counterparts. It's about treating women with decency, respect and fairness, and not treating them like sex objects or prizes. It's about treating them like human beings."
"What do you know?" Jen scowled. "You're a boy!"
"Yes, but like most nerds, I'm a boy who reads a lot. I educate myself. And the girls here will back me up."
One of the female nerds spoke. "He's right. Deep down, you know he's right and that Lisa Williams is just a misandrist nutcase who practices an extremist brand of feminism that has as much to do with true feminism as Gilligan's Island has to actual island survival stories."
"So, when you join us ... and you WILL join us ... don't call Lisa Williams and her group 'feminists'. Call them 'Feminist-extremists' instead."
"There's no way any of us are joining you nerds!" Jen growled.
"As if!" Tiffany Sanders said, struggling with her bonds.
"I'm afraid you don't have much choice." Jay said. "I know both of you fairly well. With you, Tiffany, I've been looking forward to converting you for a while, since your clique always looked down on the nerds and needed to be enlightened."
He then turned to Jen. "As for you, I've a feeling I know who you were before Lisa got a hold of you, and bringing you to the Nerd side might make you just a bit truer to who you were. In any case, I am now going to free you all from that misguided girl's influence."
Jay Duncan raised his calculator, which began glowing with a strange magical glow.
