Sarah looked through the window. The Random Gun had fallen from the second-story window, hit the sidewalk, and bounced on to the pavement of the parking lot. Nearby, a large eagle sat in a tree.

Sarah wasn't sure if that eagle was there naturally, or if the Random Gun had gone off when it hit the ground and transformed some bird into it. But he had little time to speculate, as a car drove toward the Random Gun and ran over it.

There was a loud crunching sound, and then a bright flash. The car drove along, leaving the Random Gun in several pieces on the pavement. And then the car stopped.

A young blonde woman stepped out of the car, and shouted "What the fuck just happened to me?" Sarah couldn't tell who this person used to be, but suspected that they would find out soon enough. It was probably a member of the school faculty.

"Looks like the Random Gun is history. But it got off one last transformation." Reggie noted.

Reggie was now an attractive black cheerleader. Biff was now a nine year old boy. And Sarah was now a male football player.

"It's probably for the best." Sarah replied. "That thing was just too ... random."

"But Sarah, we could have used it to change back!" Biff protested, in a whiny voice.

"That thing was random. If we tried, we would have probably been using it all day just to get anywhere even close to what we used to be." Sarah replied. "And God only knows what sort of mental transformations it could have inflicted on us while we were trying to get something 'close enough'. I'm glad it's gone."

"But how are we going to change back?" said a little six year old girl in the class.

"I don't know." Sarah replied grimly. "We're still finding Transformation Guns all over the place. So far, we've yet to find any that change age or gender. And I'm guessing some of you might be in need of both." A few of the class nodded at that last remark.

"But right now, we've got to call an ambulance." Sarah continued. "Mrs. Williams was only crazy because the Random Gun turned her into a crazy person. We can't just let her die."

"We've also got to see if the others found any more Transformation Guns." Reggie added. "But I don't know if we'll ever find a way to change back."

She approached Sarah. "And that means you've got to take my place or Biff's place on the football team. And I'll have to replace you on the cheerleading squad."

Sarah wasn't sure how to react to that. He looked at both Reggie and Biff, both of whom were looking at him as if they expected him to do it. And, he knew, he could do it. He knew all about football. The Random Gun had given him both the body and the knowledge for it, and he was sure he'd be a good addition to the team. In fact, he'd probably be their star player.

He shook himself out of his thoughts. "We can work things out later." he said. "Right now, we've got to call an ambulance for Mrs. Williams, and meet with the others back in the principal's office."

The woman from the car below, meanwhile, had walked into the principal's office immediately after the incident in the parking lot. She was confused and upset at what had just happened to her, and she needed to discuss it with Principal Davison.

She walked into the principal's office, where she would tell the principal who she had been before her transformation...
