As they left the house, Jen began holding Karyn's hand. Karyn unconciously began to pull away. Jen looked at her wierd and then said, "What did you do that for?"
"W, what?" asked Karyn. Realizing what had happened, she said, "You were holding my hand. I guess it just felt wierd, is all."
"But you're my friend, Karyn," Jen said, looking slightly hurt. "I always hold your hand when we go out, the same way I do for all my friends. You know catgirls tend to show their affections physically." Jen began to pull away, crossing her arms over her newly enlarged breasts. "I'm sorry if I made you fell uncomfortable, but I like you, Karyn. Being with you makes me feel really good and happy. Its just that, you've never had a problem with it before and I thought you liked holding my hand, also."
"I'm sorry, Jen," said Karyn. "I guess that I never really considered how catgirls think and why they do things. I know that's my fault for not asking my best friend how being a catgirl changes how they think and feel. I know how often I've complained about how guys don't try to understand how I feel, and I guess that I'm doing the same thing to you. Maybe if I understood a little better, I could be a more considerate friend."
